Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Facilities Night Manager is responsible for the quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction and working productively with independent contractors. The Facility Night Manager must be able to work independently and with others, in any type or facility including but not limited to; industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, etc. Must be able to exercise good judgement in reporting client concerns to management and seeking the involvement or others in order to best meet clients' needs.
Applicants need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and/or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
