Nationally known facilities company is on the hunt for an Area Manager in the Burlington Vermont area. Area managers are responsible for ensuring the proper and effective operation of a business. This role requires individuals to oversee the day-to-day work and operations of lower-level employees to ensure adherence to organization guidelines.

Role Priorities

• Implementation of company policies and SOP
• Customer Retention
• Manage the day-to-day facility operation and project management
• Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure their requirements and needs are met.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of supervisors and front-line staff.
• Ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Adherence to operational budgets is crucial for meeting the financial obligations of the organization and ensuring compliance.
• Monitor and report on the performance of service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and effective resolution of complaints.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in managing operations and leading teams.
• Experience in supervising, mentoring, and training staff and teams.
• Knowledge of safety and risk management techniques and principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business and project management software.
