We are looking for a Property Facilities Manager that can work independently and is self-motivated. This person will be the main point of contact for coordination of facilities maintenance between tenants and vendors. Must be professional, detail oriented and hard working. This is a full-time position. Position will be in person based out of our office in Monterey, CA.
Requirements:
Must have a valid California driver’s license and must maintain a clean driving record.
Must have a dependable vehicle, truck preferred. Business related mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS Standard Mileage Rate which is current at the time of reimbursement.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with no criminal history and able to pass a background check due to government contracts.
Responsibilities include:
Schedule, assign, coordinate and perform duties in facilities maintenance, mechanical, carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and security.
Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
Perform preventative and routine building maintenance and/or repair to furniture, light fixtures, floor tile, carpet, plumbing fixtures, roofs, windows, doors, walls, minor electrical, ceiling tiles, etc.
Move and/or transport furniture, equipment, and materials.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities
Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
Assist with construction project management.
Respond to work order requests.
Maintain records and prepare reports.
Support in the acquisition of bids, coordination, scheduling, and/or monitoring of work flow of various vendors and contractors. Evaluate and monitor vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms.
Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting deadlines, successfully completing assigned work orders, and providing timely communication.
Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with all Company safety procedures, rules and regulations.
Assist as project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and new facility construction.
Other duties as assigned by management.
