Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Facilities Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     • Client Relationship Management:

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for our newest Account, fostering a strong client relationship.

    • Team Leadership:

      • Manage and lead a diverse team of facilities service professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.

      • Spearhead sustainability initiatives within our newest Account, aligning with Verde's commitment to a healthier planet.
      • Implement and promote eco-friendly practices to achieve improved building air quality and environmental impact.
    • Reporting and Communication:

      • Generate regular reports on operational performance, client satisfaction, and sustainability metrics.
      • Collaborate with the Growth Team, Chief Revenue Officer, and other stakeholders to communicate successes and challenges.
    • Compliance and Standards:

      • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
      • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, implementing improvements as necessary.
