Extrusion Operator, Sr. sets up and operates an extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Extrusion Operator, Sr. adjusts and cleans machines. Documents work performed as required. Additionally, Extrusion Operator, Sr. may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Extrusion Operator, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Candidate must be able to stand for long periods at a time. Lifting required of at least 50 lbs. Must be able to endure extremely hot temperatures.

To perform this job successfully, employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good attendance record, adherence to company policies and procedures, and satisfactory job performance are required to retain position and/or employment. Candidate must be able to work overtime either before or after normal starting times and on weekends.
