Experienced Machine Operator – Extrusion

Employbridge is searching for experienced and talented Film Blowing (or Blown Film Extrusion) Machine Operators for our film facility in Tukwila, WA.

The ideal candidate MUST be flexible to working ALL SHIFTS.

**7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am**

Pay: $22-25/DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm (starting off)

Extrusion Machine Operator Job duties:

• Starting up equipment and making plastic bubble.
• Taking rolls of plastic off the winders, weighing the rolls, and placing the rolls on the skids or storage racks by use of an overhead hoist.
• Maintaining the wok area for OSHA, EPA, and housekeeping compliance.
• Perform scheduled QA checks on all orders.
• Adjusting as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for 12 consecutive hours.
• Proven experience in Extrusion. At least 2 years
• Film blowing or blown film experience 
• Ability to unload a roll of plastic from the winder using an overhead hoist.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds.
• Ability to read, understand and order specification and fill out production reports.
• Ability to add, subtract, mudpie and divide.
• Must be able to read and understand gauge measurements and tape measurements.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.
