Extrusion Operator jobs in Idaho

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machines that extrude thermoplastic materials to create products according to production specifications.

Duties:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machinery during the production process
- Set up and adjust machine controls according to product specifications
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Experience in plastics extrusion or related field
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Knowledge of machining processes and tools
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machine parts for maintenance
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations
- Computer knowledge for data entry using office software

Expected hours: 40 – 52 per week
