Position summary:

Extrusion Technicians work in a fast-paced environment that fosters teamwork, production of high-quality products, and risk-based decision making while following ISO 9001 and 13485 regulations. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Extrusion Technicians to join our team. Excellent communication, keen attention to detail, and confidence in decision making are required. As well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up of extrusion lines per daily schedule.
• Operation of extruders.
• Assist with extruder maintenance and inspection.
• Assist with troubleshooting when extrusion problems occur.
• Effectively communicate at all levels within manufacturing.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Ensures that their work area maintains is safe, clean, and organized.
• Adherence to all Health & Safety procedures.
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous extrusion experience and/or training.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with working with machines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to apply and carry out instructions in written, oral, and diagram form.
• Technician must stand, walk, lift, and have high level of dexterity to perform job skills.
• Must be able to work well under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer and Team Focused
