Extrusion Operator jobs in Eden Prairie, MN

Job Summary:

Use various extruders and down stream extrusion equipment to complete extrusion orders per prints.

Essential Functions:

• Perform secondary operations such as decoring, trimming, cutting-to-length and sorting.
• Perform in-line inspections per print.
• Report problems or issues to supervisor for assistance.
• Work only on processes that you are being or have been trained to perform.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment per company policies.
• Use manufacturing documentation including prints, Manufacturing Processes and the Traveler to perform duties.
• Use measuring tools, microscope, and prints/specifications to perform duties.
• Start up, shut down, tare down and set up of Extrusion equipment.
• Receive materials at the dock.
• Assist in shipping functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds routinely and to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to work in various industrial conditions.
• Must be able to climb steps.
• Must be able to stand long periods of time on concrete floors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extrusion experience desirable.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Able to follow written procedures and instructions.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
