Description:

The Client was having supplier quality problems so they will be doing more tube and film extrusion in house. This engineer will own the equipment bring up for new in house extrusion manufacturing capabilities in addition to being the SME for extrusion manufacturing worldwide

Requirements:

• 8 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, R&D engineer, or similar
• Plastic Extrusion Experience
• Disposables
• BS Engineering
• Project Management

Responsibilities:

• Candidates will engage with manufacturing facilities in CO and worldwide
• Act as a SME regarding extrusion for new product introduction and manufacturing
• Support R&D regarding material selection
• Build and maintain manufacturing processes for new and existing product lines
• Perform issue resolution. This includes tubing and film specification issues including tolerances within /- .0001 of an inch, material change request from vendors and suppliers including vendor request to move source of supply to different extruder
