THE JOB:
The Product Manager – Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) and Career Exploration oversees the entire lifecycle of Realityworks’ emerging product line in Career and Technical Education (CTE). This position drives product ideation, planning, delivery, and marketing. Collaborating closely with internal teams, the Product Manager conducts market research, develops a product vision and roadmap, manages product quality, and ensures products align with Company vision and market needs. This role involves forecasting, identifying product benefits, and creating marketing plans, collateral, and product training materials to support sales efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and executes product strategy for the STEM and Career Exploration product portfolio, aligning with the Company's overall mission and objectives
- Takes ownership of assigned product lines, serving as the primary point of contact
- Defines comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps, guiding products through their entire lifecycle from inception to discontinuation
- Manages pricing, extensions, and value-added offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs and Company goals
- Gathers and synthesizes requirements from stakeholders, integrating feedback into product releases and conducts market research to identify growth opportunities and develop business strategies
- Prepares business cases for investment decisions, securing internal approval, designs and executes product marketing plans and drafts detailed product requirement documents, adhering to allocated budgets
- Establishes and implements optimal processes for new product development, launch, and analysis
- Leads interdisciplinary teams to address business challenges efficiently, leveraging systems and data effectively
- Maintains expertise in industry segments, analyzing market trends and customer needs, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners
- Collaborates with marketing to craft core positioning and messaging for products and go-to-market launch plans
- Solicits feedback from customers to refine product features and enhance user experience
- Monitors and enhances product performance, meeting predefined goals and objectives
- Conducts ongoing market research to support product development and positioning
- Analyzes feedback from sales, marketing, customers, and subject matter experts to drive product development
- Promotes products internally and externally, serving as an evangelist for the brand
- Collaborates with sales teams to drive product adoption through targeted marketing activities
- Manages financial aspects of product lines, ensuring profitability and alignment with financial objectives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM-related field, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in product management, with a focus on educational technology, STEM products, or related fields
- Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes for students
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel up to 25% of time to attend tradeshows, industry events, or customer meetings is required. Travel is typically by car and/or air.
WORK LOCATION:
Realityworks, Inc. is located in Eau Claire, WI. This is a hybrid position, splitting time between working from a home office and working onsite at the corporate office, as assigned or required.
