We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor will be responsible for locating critical parts and delivering them to the next job in the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
```Responsibilities:```
- Coordinate with co-workers and supervisors to locate parts and find a new location to stage the pallets to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Keep track and count critical parts to keep them moving through the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or delays in delivery
- Maintain accurate counts and records as well as documentation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of parts tracking strategies. May need to troubleshoot the location of critical parts.
```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Expeditor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of forklift, inventory control, staging
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills
