SUMMARY
The Digital Display & IPTV Technician shall provide onsite management, support, and upkeep of the digital display and IPTV systems at Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead in the design, configuration, installation and maintenance of all digital display and IPTV systems throughout the Foxborough Campus. This role will support event operations including NFL and MLS games, major concert tours, corporate events, and specialty activations to deliver best in class service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead or assist in the design, configuration, installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of all digital display and IPTV systems through the direction of the Broadcast Systems Engineer.
- Develop and assist in creating system configuration documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) to contribute with the improvement of system guidelines and policies.
- Assist in project scheduling and deployment of new system rollout or maintenance to ensure full functionality and security compliance of hardware and software for all digital display and IPTV systems.
- Provide game day or event support staff with services associated with content management, component troubleshooting, software troubleshooting, training, live video ingest, proof of play reporting, and more for all events in Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place
- Supervise, train, and develop PT staff in the operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all digital display and IPTV system hardware and software.
- Work with Gillette Stadium Special Events staff to ensure all meeting and event spaces and their respective digital display and LED systems are operational.
- Support the Audio Visual and Broadcast Systems Department projects through all stages of the construction process from RFP, design review, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and training.
- Provide extensive troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and testing of all digital display and IPTV systems to include but not limited to LED content playback and processor systems, monitors, digital media players, fiber converters, projection systems, digital signage displays, LED displays, RF cable systems, streaming and encoding technologies, and more.
- Identify and report issues with all digital display and IPTV systems and provide step by step actions to take to resolve the issues.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams in the delivery of services to include collaboration with IT, Stadium Operations, Facilities, outside vendors, and more.

- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equal Technical Degree in audio or video and/or 3 years of experience in audio visual and broadcast system engineering or production
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the live sports production, broadcast station operations, or event production field.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience with LED, digital display, and IPTV systems
- Experience with Daktronics LED displays, Show Control, and Venus Control Suite is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards for LED display and control systems, IPTV systems, encoding video transmission technologies, best practices, and service programs
- Knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure and operations is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong customer focus
- Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Be able to work effectively with other departments receiving and communicating instructions via telephone or in person.
- Be able to read and understand technical materials.
- Able to set priorities under pressure of deadlines.
- Able to concentrate for long periods of time.
