Exhibit Display Coordinator plans the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and displays. Evaluates displays to determine effectiveness and identifies potential areas for improvement to ensure display objectives are met. Being an Exhibit Display Coordinator may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Exhibit Display Coordinator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     EDUCATION
    Bachelor’s degree required; MA or MFA degree preferred

    EXPERIENCE
    Prior curatorial/ installation experience preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    A broad knowledge of exhibit installation requirements

    Familiarity with applicable safety practices.

    Excellent organizational skills and time management of tasks

    Ability to supervise and instruct staff and students

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
