    BASIC FUNCTION: The Steward will clean the pots and pans for the kitchen staff.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Ensure all kettles are cleaned when shift begins.
    • Wash all pits and pans and store neatly.
    • All food stains, smoke stain, etc. must be removed before storage takes place.
    • Floor and trashcans must stay clean.
    • Keep the workspace clear.
    • All counters must be cleaned at the end of the shift.
    • Meet all cleaning and sanitation requirements.
    • Responsible for all hotel/resort/spa receiving.

    MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
    • Assist cooks in anything that may need to be cleaned up.

    QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience working with chemicals.
    • Hard worker.
    • Organizational skills.
