Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas

- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed

- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary

- Train new employees on kitchen procedures and safety protocols

- Provide exceptional customer service to guests

- Collaborate with the assistant manager to develop and implement efficient processes

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality preferred

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in coffee preparation techniques is a plus

- Experience in team management is an asset
