POSITION TITLE: Count Team Member
DEPARTMENT: Count Team
REPORTS TO: Count Team Supervisor
Starting Wage: $13.00 per hour
SUMMARY:
Performs scheduled hard and soft drop/counts of the slots, tables, arcade/pay phones and tip boxes ensuring that all counts are accurate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform duties in compliance with company standards and gaming regulations along with GRC procedures and internal controls. Perform the Drop/Count of the employee Tip boxes, count and verify. Perform the Drop/Count of the Stacker Boxes, count and verify. Perform the Table Games Drop/Count, count and verify. Record the results of the various Drops according to drop/count policy and procedures manual. Record the contents of each stacker box, batch money by denominations, ensuring that the manual count and computer print-out are matching. Clean Count equipment daily and maintain maintenance log for all machines. All other duties assigned by the Count Team Supervisor. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES: Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal “Key” license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE: Three months experience in the casino environment preferred. Must be able to administer professional communication skills with internal and external guests and ensure confidentiality.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand (for long periods) continued walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting for periods of 8 hours or more and lift 60 pounds or more.
Bending, pushing/pulling a heavy cart. Grasping, hand and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and color acuity.
