Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the kitchen and dining areas
- Coordinate with the culinary team to produce items on menus and ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards
- Oversee food production, including preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor staff members on proper food handling techniques and customer service skills
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services
- Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the culinary industry
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and practices
- Proficient in food production techniques and culinary skills
- Experience in banquet services and catering operations
- Ability to effectively lead a team and delegate tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
