Executive Sous Chef - Casino manages the operations of the kitchen in absence of and in assistance with the Executive Chef. Oversees the preparation of food and inventory levels of the kitchen. Additionally, Executive Sous Chef - Casino typically reports to an executive chef. The Executive Sous Chef - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs.     JOB SUMMARY

    This position requires an attention to detail, a team player mind set and a willingness to do better than the day before. Cleanliness and organization are expected. Must be hardworking with a positive mental attitude. Work closely and coordinate with other team members to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction and retention. This is great environment to grow with many avenues to learn about food in a working kitchen.

    DAY TO DAY

    • Preferably 1-2 years as a line cook.
    • Basic knife handling skills.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of all items listed on menu.
    • Ability to read and follow recipes that are used to create consistency.
    • Assists the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with any tasks requested while working at an efficient pace to keep up with Club needs.
    • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and possess excellent interpersonal skill
    • Carry out all responsibilities given by the management team.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.

    ABOUT YOU

    • A high school diploma is preferred.
    • Previous line cook experience preferred.
    • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
    • You are comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
