Executive Response Specialist jobs in Washington, DC

Executive Response Specialist provides timely resolutions to customer complaints that have escalated to the highest level within the organization. Coordinates with product/service suppliers and/or contact center staff to research and determine validity of complaints and evaluate options to remedy these complaints. Being an Executive Response Specialist reviews the underlying facts of the complaint, determines an appropriate solution, and delivers the response to the customer. Requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered, well developed customer service skills, and clear understanding of the company's policy regarding complaints. Additionally, Executive Response Specialist exercises a large degree individual discretion and judgement. Tracks complaints and makes recommendations to management designed to reduce the number of complaints. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Executive Response Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     You are:

    A Cyber Incident Response Consultant who will work under an incident response manager to analyze and respond to incidents from security-relevant events triaged by the T1 team.

    The work:

    • Perform malware analysis and provide recommendations to increase the organizations security posture
    • Collaborate with operations teams and management to investigate security issues and determine true and false positives

    Here's What You Need:

    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • 5 years of Cyber Incident Response experience
    • 2 years experience performing event and log analysis including Intrusion Detection Systems and experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
    • 1 year of experience investigating, containing, eradicating, and preventing current and future compromises i.e., implementing or requesting an IP/domain/URL block, file hash block, email purge, software removal, device reimage, etc.

    Other Required Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Work independently to deliver timely solutions without direct supervision
    • Experience presenting complex technical information to decision makers and leading them through the decision-making process
    • Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages
    • Experience with TCP/IP, common application layer protocols, and packet analysis of the same
    • Experience performing static and dynamic malware analysis
    • Experience with indicators of attack and compromise
    • Familiarity with detection design & engineering concepts to tune detections
    • Familiarity with Windows / Linux architecture and endpoint analysis of the same
    • Familiarity with basic data parsing and analysis tools, i.e., Excel, grep, sed, awk, regex, etc.

    Bonus Points:

    • SANs GIAC Certifications including but not limited to GCED, GCLD, GCIH, GCFA, GREM

    Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.?As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and????

    Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role?

    California: $95,600-$153,100

    Colorado: $95,600-$132,300

    New York City: $110,700-$153,100

    Washington State: $101,900-$140,800
