Executive Response Specialist provides timely resolutions to customer complaints that have escalated to the highest level within the organization. Coordinates with product/service suppliers and/or contact center staff to research and determine validity of complaints and evaluate options to remedy these complaints. Being an Executive Response Specialist reviews the underlying facts of the complaint, determines an appropriate solution, and delivers the response to the customer. Requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered, well developed customer service skills, and clear understanding of the company's policy regarding complaints. Additionally, Executive Response Specialist exercises a large degree individual discretion and judgement. Tracks complaints and makes recommendations to management designed to reduce the number of complaints. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Executive Response Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. 25% Under direction, serves as an Infrastructure Procurement Specialist for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) Vendor Management Office (VMO):
20% Processes procurements through the State of Illinois electronic procurement system including the preparation and processing of requisitions, bids, and purchase orders, pursuant to applicable statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements:
20% Meets and confers with agency managers and end users in the administration of procurements for the assigned portfolio:
15% Monitors and tracks assigned transactions and reports to Infrastructure Portfolio Manager and other VMO and DoIT staff on assigned transactions and activities:
Utilizes required systems for tracking of work in the assigned portfolio as assigned by the Infrastructure Portfolio Manager.
15% Assists other portfolio staff with research and document/record gathering tasks, at the direction of the Infrastructure Portfolio Manager including, but not limited to, annual reports, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and audit requests:
