As an On-Call Driver with Care Connection you will be responsible for transporting clients to various locations in the company vehicle. While this is an On-Call position, you will need to complete our online Behavioral Health Driver training program and attend 1 half-day of in-person training.

The Schedule is flexible to your availability. The Pay is $18.00-$20.00 an hour. We have 10 available positions for this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Transports clients as needed and follows all transportation safety and documentation guidelines.
• Maintains awareness, safety, security, and supervision of clients in care at all times. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with all clients in our care, agency staff, and external stakeholders.
• Follows all behavior management, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention protocols and procedures.
• Ensure all conduct and client interactions are Trauma Informed and follows best practices.
• Models sensitivity and competency related to diversity and cultural awareness.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Behavioral Health Technician [BHT] experience is ideal.
• 23 years old required.
• Must have valid California Driver’s license, exhibit the ability to operate company vans and/or vehicles safely and have a clean 5-year motor vehicle history.
• Preferred dress code: Casual (come as you are, but please be presentable) Company ID will be provided once hired.
