Executive Response Specialist provides timely resolutions to customer complaints that have escalated to the highest level within the organization. Coordinates with product/service suppliers and/or contact center staff to research and determine validity of complaints and evaluate options to remedy these complaints. Being an Executive Response Specialist reviews the underlying facts of the complaint, determines an appropriate solution, and delivers the response to the customer. Requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered, well developed customer service skills, and clear understanding of the company's policy regarding complaints. Additionally, Executive Response Specialist exercises a large degree individual discretion and judgement. Tracks complaints and makes recommendations to management designed to reduce the number of complaints. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are a two-doctor optometric practice seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic problem solver who likes a challenge. Responsibilities include insurance billing, accounts receivable, and credentialing, with some additional duties. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, both onsite and remote.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper coding of medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 codes
- Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials to ensure timely payment
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Track and maintain doctor credentialing with insurance companies
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and procedures
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement methodologies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently.
