We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests. Duties:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to established cleaning procedures and standards
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping team members
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to address any maintenance or guest-related issues
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures
- Monitor budgetary expenses related to housekeeping operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest concerns or requests
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, including floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
- Weekends required
