Executive Chef - Casino is responsible for all of the operations of the kitchens. Creates and updates menus to maximize profits and minimize loss. Being an Executive Chef - Casino tests and develops recipes. Monitors customer satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef - Casino maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Develops and maintains an excellent rapport with gaming guest. Efficiently responds and arranges special services for quality guest with Casino Marketing and/or VIP Guest Services Department. Ability to establish strong working relationships with Casino and Slot operations. Identifies and educates existing and new players on the Marquee Program. Assists in planning and hosting special events. Constantly looks for new ideas that will enhance the casino guest's service. Maintains a professional image and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures to reflect three integrity of the company. Acts as role model and always presents oneself as a credit to 1st Jackpot Casino and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job.

Hospitality industry experience and two (2) to four (4) years in the hotel environment is preferred. Knowledge of computer function, customer service and telemarketing is essential. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
