Executive Chef Assistant - Casino jobs in Costa Mesa, CA

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen staff. The position is responsible for performing a variety of kitchen duties, such as setting up workstations and tools in the kitchen, preparing food and other items for service, cleaning up and preparing other duties such as opening and closing the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, have good organization skills, be a team player, and have a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to pass a background checkMust be able to pass a drug testMust be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)Must be able to work at least 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.Must have experience in the food service industry.Must have experience in the preparation of seafood and/or vegetables.Must have experience in the cooking of meats and seafood.Must have experience in the cooking of vegetables and herbs.Must have experience in the prep work of meats and seafood.Be able to follow instructions accurately.Be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure-packed deadlines.Be comfortable working alone with little supervision.Be comfortable with repetitive motion throughout the day.Job Type: Full-time****
