Executive Assistant provides multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive's time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people. Being an Executive Assistant manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements. Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepares summaries and reports. Additionally, Executive Assistant develops positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization. Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality. May be responsible for directing and deploying support staff or other resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to c-suite executive. The Executive Assistant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that we uphold elevated standards to enhance service and maximize profitability. Your role will involve prioritizing and organizing projects, providing clear direction to our team, and identifying training needs as required. Above all, you will play a key role in inspiring our associates and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes engagement, empowerment, thoughtfulness, kindness, and motivation.
    • Manage day-to-day operations for Guest Services, Reservations, Concierge, Bell/Valet, Housekeeping room standards, and Maintenance Departments.
    • Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage operations, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, and Revenue departments.
    • Conduct Daily Briefings with key personnel, addressing previous day’s challenges professionally, coaching the team, and reinforcing key operating standards.
    • Oversee the technological aspects of the operation and lead all projects and assignments as delegated by the General Manager.
    • Coordinate property walk-throughs with managers, inspecting all areas for cleanliness, safety, and promptly addressing urgent issues.
    • Develop a high-performing hospitality team, fostering a guest-centric and training-oriented culture in a warm and caring environment.
    • Strive for innovation, implementing new standards and products with the General Manager’s approval.
    • Aim for the highest scores on all review platforms and maintain high visibility in public areas, greet guests personally, and set grooming standards by presenting in a highly professional manner.
    • Dedicate time and effort to exceed all guest expectations.
    • Develop short-term and long-term financial and operational plans supporting the company’s overall objectives.
    • Ensure daily scheduling meets business demands while adhering to labor targets and guidelines.
    • Actively participate in recruiting for all positions and adhere to Human Resources guidelines, overseeing orientation, training programs, and timely performance reviews.
    • Meet assigned departmental budgets and monitor financial statements in conjunction with the Regional Controller.
    • Proficient in performance management, maintaining product and service quality standards, and addressing guest complaints promptly.
    • Oversee security, preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Stay current on business trends and local activities, establishing an appropriate level of community involvement.
    • Proactively suggest ways to improve operations and be responsible for maintaining existing and implementing new brand standards.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager.
    • Requires schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Qualifications:

         •     Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Hotel Management position.

         •     Bachelor’s degree in hospitality is strongly preferred.

         •     Preferably experienced in a 4-star environment.

         •     Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

         •     Professional adeptness in engaging with diverse levels of management and staff.

         •     Proven self-starter, capable of handling pressure and meeting deadlines.

         •     Exemplary attention to detail, accurately discerning guests’ needs and providing requisite service.

         •     Outstanding guest service skills, reflecting warmth and professionalism.

         •     Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in all endeavors.

         •     Proficient in problem analysis and decisive decision-making.

         •     Valid driver’s license is a prerequisite.
