Executive Assistant provides multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive's time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people. Being an Executive Assistant manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements. Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepares summaries and reports. Additionally, Executive Assistant develops positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization. Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality. May be responsible for directing and deploying support staff or other resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to c-suite executive. The Executive Assistant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This is a M- F in person opportunity. Provide support to VP in Human Resources as well as the community relations team. Coordinate and help with events within the Fargo market. Strong communication, organization, and written skills are a must.
Job Summary
Coordinates administrative and support functions for one or more executives or management personnel. Supports one or more upper management personnel for all administrative needs. Scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements. Creating and developing visual presentations for executives and organizing and prioritizing large volume of incoming calls. Maintaining confidential and non-routine information and acting as project manager for special projects pertaining to executive staff. Developing reports and composing and editing correspondence, as well as interfacing effectively with all levels of personnel. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, other employees and the public. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Ability to react calmly and effectively in stressful working situations. The ability to anticipate the needs of your superiors before they ask for them is a great asset.
Qualifications
Associate degree in a secretarial or related field or equivalent three years Administrative Assistant work experience is required.
