Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Excavating/Loading Machine Operator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Excavating/Loading Machine Operator works under immediate supervision. Job Summary:
Brake Press operators operate and maintain brake press machines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Read schedules and understands how to load programs
• Maintain quality programs and safely operate the machine
• Properly PM the machines
• Keep up with daily quotas and ensure machine is running at peak performance
• Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or team lead
• Provide information to management as needed
• Correctly identify materials and parts to ensure correct parts are bent
• Stage parts accurately for next operation
