The Horizontal Mills Operator (H-Mills) is responsible for operating the H-Mills CNC machine to produce quality parts for Masters Machine customers, reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheet, sketches, and other related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods. The H-Mills Operator follows all established safety guidelines and is responsible for general preventative maintenance and communicating any maintenance needs to the Cell Manager.
The Screw Machine Operator is responsible for setup and operating one or more of the screw machines (Davenport, Wickman or Euroturn) equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanism to perform turning, boring threading & facing operations on metal bar stock, analyzing specifications and deciding on tooling according to knowledge of screw machine operations. Reading and interpreting blueprints for dimensions of parts, tolerance, and plans sequences of operation, selecting cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts & cutting tools to be used based on experience & knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics. The Screw Machine Operator follows all established safety guidelines and is responsible for general preventative maintenance and communicating any maintenance needs to the Production Manager.
The Vertical Mills Operator (V-Mills) is responsible for operating the V-Mills CNC machine to produce quality parts for Masters Machine customers, reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheet, sketches, and other related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods.
