Job Title:  Electrical Apprentice

*Essential Functions

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet)
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights.
• Able to work on and around heavy and moving machinery, and in conditions that include loud noise and fumes.
• Able to visually distinguish among red, blue, green and yellow colors, hear, and with training, distinguish auditory signals.
• Able and willing to walk, stand, bend, and sit for long periods of time.
• Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner.

*Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High school diploma with two years of trade school preferred, or two years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
• Able to speak English

*Physical Requirements

• Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights will all be required
• Good work ethic, team player attitude, and problem solving ability
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Own personal hand tools
• Power tools are provided
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
