Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist conducts needs analyses and designs and implements ethics, business conduct and compliance training and development programs. Interfaces with multiple functional groups outside the ethics and compliance office to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory and corporate objectives. Being an Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist participates in the development and implementation of classroom, web-based and other media training programs for all employees designed to promote knowledge of the corporate code of conduct policies, legal and regulatory requirements of the organization's business. Coordinates with and ensures a uniform level of ethics and compliance training among operating units of the corporation. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist coordinates both internal and external resources required by the program. Provides technical expertise, evaluates content and makes recommendation on incorporating all facets of corporate training programs into the business operation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     The Work You'll Do:

    We are looking to immediately fill an open full-time Compliance position. In this role, you would be responsible for assisting the Compliance department on a variety of regulatory and customer service related tasks. This position reports directly to the Compliance Manager.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Leveraging subject matter expertise in United States federal and state beverage alcohol laws to execute daily tasks.
    • Preparing and filing applications to obtain required regulatory solicitor and/or event tasting permits.
    • Ensure applications meet minimum regulatory qualification requirements, ensuring that our licenses are not at risk for noncompliance.
    • Evaluating sample requests and marketing events that our clients participate in to ensure compliance. • Comprehending, interpreting, and communicating compliance regulations to clients
    • Evaluating compliance requests for accuracy and readiness on behalf of our clients
    • Advising clients of approvals and providing comprehensive guidance to resolve regulatory deficiencies if the approval was denied.
    • Demonstrating urgency when pursuing compliance approvals based on the awareness that such approval is a prerequisite to our clients’ ability to facilitate wholesale and/or retail customer sales or other trade related activities.
    • Engaging regularly with our customer service teams and other departments to provide compliance solutions for interdepartmental client requests.
    • Managing high volume of communication via phone and email with our clients and federal/state regulatory agencies
    • Learning and following established task management policies and internal data management software processes.
    • Prioritizing and managing a wide variety of daily tasks
    • Delivering superior customer service to our clients, customers, and stakeholders
    • Generating recurring reports to facilitate client visibility in their active markets.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What background and experience is needed?

    • Background working in the legal/administrative or customer service-related industry.
    • Data entry experience
    • An exhibited passion for customer service.
    • High level of attention to detail.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional organization and task management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience using ShipCompliant is a plus.
    • Experience using Asana is a plus.
    • Experience within the Beverage Alcohol Industry is a tremendous plus but not required.
    • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
