Ethics & Compliance Training Manager plans and manages the organization's ethics and compliance training programs. Conducts needs analyses and designs training and development programs. Being an Ethics & Compliance Training Manager interfaces with functional groups outside the ethics and compliance office to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory, and corporate objectives. Keeps abreast of pending regulatory developments, such as Sarbanes Oxley, through reference sources and interacts with appropriate members of management to obtain insight and ensure training programs meet legislative agendas, at both the Federal and State levels. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Training Manager oversees the purchase of all training modules and interfaces with outside vendors and contractors. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Ethics & Compliance Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Quality System Compliance & Training Manager

    Summary: 

    The Quality System Compliance and Training Manager is charged with ensuring that Tri-Mack’s quality systems conform to the requirements of our customers, their designated reps and third party registrars. This position requires engineering and manufacturing experience to oversee the ongoing improvement of Tri-Mack's Quality Management System.  Regular maintenance of our Quality Manual and work instructions is required so that the procedures are up-to-date and meet current requirements.  This role will perform internal audits on a frequency that is adequate to stay audit-ready and will manage and/or support Tri-Mack systems compliance with all regulatory agencies.  In addition, this position is responsible for managing all  employee training programs and keeping training records up to date.

     

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

    Internal Auditing

    • Schedule and perform the series of internal process audits to meet AS9100 & NADCAP and customer requirements.
    • Review all internal findings and analyze the information to look for trends that may indicate a larger problem.
    • Facilitate root-cause analysis for all internal findings and close out the findings and the associated documentation.
    • Train and maintain a team of multi-discipline internal auditors.
    • Work with the President and the Leadership council to ensure annual KPIs are established and tracked.
    • Organize, facilitate and document official Management meetings on a regular basis to discuss trends, deficiencies, findings, and progress on KPIs to ensure compliance with auditing bodies’ expectations.

    External Audits

    • Take full ownership of the auditing cycle and coordinate Tri-Mack’s preparation efforts for all external audits.
    • Serve as Tri-Mack’s primary contact and host for all outside auditors.
    • Facilitate timely root-cause analysis for all findings.
    • Prepare and present all corrective actions and objective evidence to outside auditors or customers on time.
    • Communicate all quality-related findings and required actions to the Tri-Mack Management team.
    • Serve as the company administrator for OAISIS and other 3rd party auditing portals.

    Quality System Custodian

    • Perform the duties of quality system custodian by maintaining the Tri-Mack Quality Manual and ensuring that all changes to the manual and work instructions are accurate and compliant and identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Review all revisions to customer or auditing body specifications, prepare gap analyses, and determine if our quality manual or work instructions need to be modified to stay in compliance.
    • Represent the Quality System in respect to impact from the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
    • Train managers and supervisors on the care and use of the Quality Manual and work instructions.

    Training

    • Responsible for training program management including training needs assessment, program development and effectivity improvement
    • Establish and track all employee training requirements based on their Tri-Mack job description using TrakStar Learn software.
    • Serve as the point person for the integration, and maintenance of TrakStar Learn.
    • Using the TrakStar Learn “dashboard”, monitor all employee training and work directly with employees, supervisors, and trainers as necessary to ensure Tri-Mack’s training is up-to-date and audit-ready.
    • Update training requirements as necessary whenever there is a new or revised work instruction.

    General

    • Manage and/or support Tri-Mack systems compliance to all regulatory agencies
    • Work closely with the President and Leadership Council to establish and maintain a culture of respect for the Tri-Mack Quality System
    • Assist the Quality Department in quality planning as needed
    • Assist the Engineering department with quality engineering assignments as needed
    • Support root-cause analysis and corrective action responses as needed

    Education, Skills & Experience:

    • Engineering degree preferred; 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing engineering or quality engineering required.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel at all levels of the organization is required.
    • Working knowledge and experience in managing third party inspections (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP) and negotiating with 3rd parties on compliance issues is required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
