Ethics & Compliance Training Manager plans and manages the organization's ethics and compliance training programs. Conducts needs analyses and designs training and development programs. Being an Ethics & Compliance Training Manager interfaces with functional groups outside the ethics and compliance office to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory, and corporate objectives. Keeps abreast of pending regulatory developments, such as Sarbanes Oxley, through reference sources and interacts with appropriate members of management to obtain insight and ensure training programs meet legislative agendas, at both the Federal and State levels. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Training Manager oversees the purchase of all training modules and interfaces with outside vendors and contractors. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Ethics & Compliance Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Ethics & Compliance Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary:

    Reporting into our Chief Product Officer, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the strategy and day-to-day operations of our training business. As the GM, you will be responsible for developing innovative compliance training and Code of Conduct offerings that differentiates NAVEX from other risk and compliance providers, as well interfacing with other departments to drive go-to-market excellence and overall success of the business.

    What You Will Do:

    • Lead all aspects of our training content business, including but not limited to, driving growth, profitability, and market share while also fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and expansion of NAVEX content business, including training, code of conduct and awareness materials

    • Track progress against goals and adjust as needed

    • Conduct market research, analyze competitive trends, identify new growth opportunities and inform content development, packaging, marketing and delivery teams

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, R&D, and industry partners

    • Oversee all aspects of training and code of conduct content development and delivery, ensuring high-quality and engaging learning experiences

    • Develop and act on end-to-end operational metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in content development

    • Promote effective go-to-market processes to maximize commercial results

    • Ensure accurate assessments of competitive capabilities to prioritize product development and sales positioning

    • Interface with e-learning platforms and authoring tools specifically suited for ethics and compliance training to drive solution and GTM partnerships

    • Monitor and analyze training effectiveness through data-driven metrics, showing customers value of NAVEX training through benchmarks

    What You Will Need:

    • A bachelor's degree and prior work-related experience or equivalent

    • 15 years of experience in compliance training and content development, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity

    • Deep understanding of adult learning principles specific to ethics and compliance training (e.g. scenario-based learning, ethical decision-making models)

    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, identify risks, and implement strategic plans to deliver targeted business outcomes

    • Proven collaboration skills with a strong track record working in a matrixed environment, successfully leading by influence, and partnering with other departments to achieve desired outcomes

    • Proven success in developing and implementing ethics and compliance training programs in regulated industries is a plus

    • Experience with gamification and other innovative learning methods for ethics and compliance training would be a bonus

    • Certifications or relevant qualifications in ethics, compliance, or instructional design is a plus

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and a commitment to engage with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds

    • The starting pay range for this role is $170,000 per annum with 20% MBO.

    • Pay progression is based on performance.
