Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. coordinates the administrative work of the ethics and compliance function of the organization. Acts as a liaison with outside vendors to provide materials for the program including manuals and posters. Being an Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. receives helpline calls, faxes and emails from outside vendors, tracks issues and routes them to appropriate staff groups. Utilizes corporate software to input and track helpline call data. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. processes routine inquires and provides data in accordance with established policies and procedures. Codes and submits invoices for department charges, maintains tracking files, reconciles corporate credit card receipts and monthly statements for reimbursement, and prepares spreadsheets for charge backs to departmental cost statements. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Ethics & Compliance Office Administrative Asst. typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill. This position will be a full-time managerial position, consisting of the adherence of compliance in the Metrc system in relation to OMMA and the use of the Trym software, in addition to the office management and administrative duties that support the operations at The Farmacyst.
This position requires experience managing several people in multiple areas of our grow spaces. Knowledge of and experience in the cannabis industry is also required, as well as being adept in office skills, (Word, Excel, Outlook).
The Compliance Manager will also work closely with the Director of Sales to help ensure proper sales coverage, sales assistance where needed and assistance with the marketing of our products.
The Compliance Manager will also work closely with the Director of Cultivation within the grow facilities.
The Compliance Manager reports to the General Manager/Chief Operations Officer.
The below lists of job duties will include, but is not limited to:
Sales Operations Duties
· Manage the sales team, including mapping out of sales areas and goal-setting
· Assist and advise in the marketing campaigns for our products
· Confirm commission calculations prior to submission for payroll runs
Grow Operations Duties
· Manage the staff, ensuring they have their daily duties laid out and they are being followed
· Maintain Metrc compliance by entering proper data as scheduled and necessary
· Confirm that all work being done is OMMA-compliant
· Enter proper data into Trym as scheduled and necessary
· Ensure scheduling is sufficient and is within budget
· Confirm proper inventory is up to date and tracked accordingly with the Sales Team
· Attend weekly operations and sales meetings, prepared with respective reports/plans
· Regular contact with the COO
Office Management/Administration
· Office duties, organization of files and vendors
· Confirm that staff is following the custodial schedules established to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire grow operation
The Farmacyst offers a clean and respectable working environment. Salary will be commensurate with experience ($42k-$54k annually). This is a contractor position and will be a 1099 IRS Report.
