Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist supports and coordinates the activities of the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Assists with the delivery and maintenance of programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist prepares materials that communicate the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Supports or delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist generates reports of compliance monitoring statistics, investigations, outcomes, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. May administer reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Commercial Compliance & Ethics Specialist

    In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring expense reports specific to transfers of value with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across Commercial and Medical Affairs teams. As a Commercial Compliance & Ethics Specialist, you must be able to independently apply comprehensive and advanced knowledge of the PhRMA code, federal/state laws, company, and customer-specific policies related to transfers of value with HCPs. You will:

    • Perform auditing and monitoring activities across field and engagement center employees’ expense reports, specific to transfers of value with HCPs
    • Identify, track, and analyze HCP expense violations, and send coaching memos to employees for breaches of PhRMA code, company and customer-specific policies
    • Coordinate with Commercial Compliance management to resolve HCP-related expense issues
    • Provide direction and training to field and engagement center employees to mitigate reoccurring violations

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent 2 years’ related experience
    • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills

    Desired Requirements:

    • Travel and expense management experience

    This is a hybrid position, requiring 1 day in the office in Bridgewater, NJ.

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $50,400 to $60,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
