Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager oversees and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.     Job Description

    Enginuity Global is a leader in the electrical engineering, automation, electrical and instrumentation field services. The manager of the Telecommunications Business Unit plays a pivotal role in developing and growing the Telecommunications division. This position will require a deep understanding of communication infrastructure, including cameras and fiber optic systems, and will be responsible for overseeing the engineering, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting/maintenance processes.

    Responsibilities

    1. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    2. Financial Oversight: Take full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the Telecommunications division, developing market competitive rates, oversight for procurement and client invoicing, closely monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-effective measures.
    3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth, diversification, and long-term success.
    4. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select and procure required equipment.
    5. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and solutions.
    6. Operational Excellence: Implement best practices, quality control measures, and safety protocols to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of all projects. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the division, including personnel, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
    7. Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to ensure successful project execution and meet client expectations.
    8. Administrative Proficiency: Consistently and promptly handle administrative tasks dealing with supervision of projects and employees including, but not limited to, timesheets, payroll, PTO, and expense reports.
    9. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations, codes, and safety standards, ensuring full compliance and adherence within the Telecommunications division.
    10. Talent Acquisition: Play an important role in the recruiting, interview, assessment, and hiring of personnel.

    Requirements

    • 15 years of experience
    • 15% Travel required.
    • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
    • Must be able to pass a background check, drug, and alcohol screening.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
    • Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry.
    • Extensive knowledge of industrial and commercial telecommunications systems, safety protocols, and industry regulations
    • Extensive knowledge of industrial and commercial telecommunications protocols and systems including networking, fiber optics, security, and A/V
    • Proven experience in a managerial role within the electrical EPC industry, with a strong background in telecommunications
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite, various web-based software)
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to apply comply with client site requirements.

    Desired Qualities

    • Bachelor's degree in business management, Construction Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field, preferred.
    • BICSCI RCDD or CFOT certification preferred.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
    • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and profitability
    • Financial acumen with experience managing P&L
    • Strong client relationship management skills
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift fifty pounds regularly.
    • See, respond, and report to possible dangerous situations.
    • Comfortable with heights, climbing stairs, and crawling.
    • Operating and driving a vehicle for extended periods of time on possible rough terrain
    • Sitting for extended periods. Bending, reaching, kneeling, and use of ladders at times
    • Ability to work in inclement weather and/or extreme weather-related conditions.
    • Wear PPE/Safety gear at specific times
    • Ability to wear an N-95 mask when required.
