Summary of Position:This position involves warehouse and yard duties such as loading/unloading of delivery vehicles and truck bodies, receiving and stocking supplies and the operation of a forklift and cherry picker. It requires great organizational skills, the ability to work both independently without supervision and as a team, must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. Previous forklift experience required. Knowledge of truck equipment and/or parts is a plus. You must undergo and pass both a physical examination and drug screening. References will be checked.
Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to calmly deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
