DAY-TO-DAY
This estimating position works a typical full-time work schedule with the ability to work overtime with little notice. Occasionally, weekend hours may be required.
In this HVAC estimating position, you prepare the cost of labor and material estimates for HVAC installations in new homes. Using blueprints and CAD drawings, you complete load calculations, design duct systems, and generate material take-off lists. After checking for accuracy, you return all necessary information back to the assigned division in a timely manner to continue with the bid process.
When necessary, you communicate directly with each division's sales and administrative teams. You bring all questions about estimations or internal issues to the team leader or estimating manager.
