Estimator - Cost jobs in Jacksonville, NC

• Must be able to read residential floorplans including but not limited to- door swings, window sizes, roof pitch, etc.
• Do material takeoffs on concrete, framing, drywall, roofing, masonry, interior trim, etc.
• Be able to use Excel, Microsoft outlook, SharePoint, teams, etc.
• Must work well with others.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with vendors, subcontractors, etc.
• Attention to detail to spot issues and complete accurate reports about the repairs.
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimum supervision.
• Time-management skills to handle appointments efficiently and stay on schedule.
• Organizational skills to keep tools and paperwork organized while in the field and shop.
• Computer and technical skills to understand the equipment fully.
• Able to operate vehicles and machinery in a safe manner.
• Teamwork friendly with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Professional.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
