Job Purpose

Provide daily workflow assistance and/or complete special projects for the Estimating and Project Management departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Project Management Responsibilities:
   1. Assistance with Drafting Package preparation, including detailed review of project documents.
   2. Prepare, track and submit products and documents as required for assigned projects.
   3. Production and organization of internal documents such as superintendent books.
   4. Data entry as required to consolidate Job Cost / CCTS Forms and required analysis.
   5. Review of current and upcoming project for conformity to CROM standards and for special considerations that may be required for details outside of CROM standards.
   6. Special projects as needed, examples include:
      1. Review and reporting of shop stocked items vs. upcoming needs
      2. Quality control tracking and reporting
   7. Taking notes and updating weekly and bi weekly project status meeting and weekly goals meeting agenda.

1. Estimating Responsibilities:
   1. Review of front end project document requirement for bidding projects.
   2. Production of reports and analysis of project performance.
   3. Tracking and reporting of projected workflow.

1. Active participation in weekly department meetings and completion of assigned department responsibilities.

1. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements

• High motivation level and strong work ethic.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current students pursuing a B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• General Construction or Concrete industry experience.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.

Working Conditions

• Travel:  Travel may be offered to provide opportunities for experience, but will not be required.
• Extended work hours are required as necessary to meet project deadlines.
