POSITION TITLE: MANAGER, ESTIMATING AND PRODUCT COSTING

FM Industries has locations in Fremont and Livermore, CA with multiple shift opportunities!

Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends:  Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for management of all corporate product costing and pricing activities. Oversee the scheduling, prioritization, and staff performance of these activities. Performs product assessment and confirmation of manufacturing capability. Prepares, reviews, and validates the adequacy of process definition, bill of materials, and costing elements. Performs analysis and preparation of costing models for internal and external review. 

• Manage corporate product pricing, standard cost, and price lists utilizing corporate ERP system
•     Coordinate workload, prioritization, and processing of customer quotes and standard cost activities
•     Manage logs and department metrics for performance reporting
•    Manage product costing and pricing change control
•     Management of complex Bill of Material structures using an automated manufacturing software     

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Machine Tool Technology
• Minimum ten years work experience
• Between three and five years of trade school, vocational education, or four years formal apprenticeship
• Extensive knowledge of CNC programming
