job performance. Oversee and direct service department activities to obtain projected volumes, profits, and goals.

• Maintain customer relations by resolving customers ’ problems/disputes through continual communication in a timely, correct manner.
• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified people to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Coaching, counseling, and training of employees.
• Manage equipment needs, i.e.; service trucks required tooling, through budgeting, capital expense requests, and accurate record keeping.
• Manage warranty work and claims to the satisfaction of customers and the company.
• Monitor all safety aspects in the performance of work, guaranteeing adherence to environmental laws, safety laws and policies, and OSHA laws.
• Provide assistance to Product Support Sales Reps (Parts and Services) as required.
• Maintain maximum department profits with expense control and efficiency to achieve acceptable profit margins.
• Respond to customers in person or by telephone whenever required.
• It may require responding after normal working hours.
• Prepare required documentation accurately and timely for company issues and customer quotes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.
• Ability to work with computers and company computer programs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
