Be a part of our Martin Equipment work family! We are a John Deere construction equipment dealership. We have an immediate need for a full-time Service Manager currently at our Rock Island, Illinois. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm, and will include Saturday rotation 6:30am – 12:00 Noon.
SUMMARY:
The Service Manager is responsible for supervising and scheduling all activities of the Service Department, including the repair and servicing of all rental and customer equipment (invoicing those repairs and services), the inspection of equipment before release to rental or customer, and the handling of customer complaints regarding equipment function or condition. Additionally the Service Manager is responsible for compliance with all company, government and vendor safety regulation and requirements. The Service Manager is also responsible for the scheduling of repairs of company vehicles.
