Job Description
Sell new and used equipment and parts while maintaining existing customer relations and establishing new ones.
Responsibilities:
· Contact and visit potential customers to demonstrate new products, explain features, solicit orders, and provide product samples or catalogs.
· Address customer questions and concerns about products, prices, availability, and returns.
· Recommend products to customers based on the customers’ needs and budget.
· Prepare and present quoted prices, credit or payment terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
· Provide customers with drawings, estimates, and bids that meet their specific needs and requirements.
· Identify and pursue prospective customers by utilizing business directories, following leads, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
· Arrange delivery and installations of products.
· Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
· Participate in yearly pricing discussions and strategies.
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
· Bachelors’ degree in business or marketing preferred.
· Knowledge of agricultural and farming practices.
· Knowledge of Center Pivot equipment Preferred.
· Basic business and math skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft office programs.
