Additionally, Equipment Engineering Director typically reports to top engineering management. The Equipment Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Equipment Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We’re seeking a Director of Engineering to help us continue to build world-class tools for our doctors and medical professionals. We’re looking for an intentional, purpose-driven leader who can provide solutions to complex problems and help define the roadmap for the future and scalability of our platform. 


    As the Director of Engineering at Fullscript you will be responsible for technical decision-making and architecture for a group of Product teams that work on our practitioner experience. You will work with the other Technical Leaders, and engineers to solve the problems of a quickly evolving platform that has ever-growing demand day in and day out.

    What you'll do
    • Own and drive the overall technical vision, planning, and design architecture for 3-5 of our engineering pods.
    • Work closely with product and design leaders to push forward Fullscript's product vision.
    • Support and grow a team of technical leads and their teammates.
    • Work with other engineering leaders to establish best practices and improve how our teams work.
    • Support executives with growth initiatives while maintaining the technical health of the application.
    • Collaboratively build the technical roadmap with other technical leaders to ensure that Fullscript can continue to scale.


    What you bring to the table
    • Experience leading engineering teams responsible for customer-facing application
    • Experience leading and growing other technical leaders
    • Experience in a collaborative environment with other product management, design, and data leaders
    • You’ve worked in a continuous integration environment 
    • Have you worked with ML/AI engineering teams or have run ML/AI-focused engineering projects in the past
    • You’ve worked in e-commerce or the health-tech sector
