Equipment Director directs the management of company equipment including procurement activities, preventative maintenance, repair/replacement and safety assurance. Manages the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. EXPERIENCED PARTS PERSONNEL RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers as they walk in the door
Answer phones and assist customers with finding parts for their equipment
Create quotes to customers for ordering parts
Create rental agreements, prep equipment paperwork for rent, follow up on required paperwork, coordinate delivery
Check in all parts and stock parts in the warehouse
Pull parts for customers and service department and bill out properly
Ship parts out to customers as needed
Assist with checking inventory and performing inventory counts
Check the showroom daily and make sure it is fully stocked
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
*Other duties as needed or as assigned
EXPERIENCED PARTS PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a strong work ethic
Must have at least 2 years parts experience
Responsible, reliable & dedicated
Computer literate
Very organized & detail oriented
Hard worker
Willing and capable of studying and learning our software and manufacturers' products
Willing to learn all roles in the department
In possession of a valid drivers' license
Knowledgeable about heavy equipment (preferred, but not required)
Ability to make hydraulic hoses (preferred, but not required)
Ability to operate a forklift (preferred, but not required)
