Manages the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Director minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Document and tracks equipment performance throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, Equipment Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Equipment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. This individual will be responsible for the effective diagnosis and repair of engine components including small engines and some agricultural equipment. What You'll Do
Learn, practice, and assist with performing complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment. Work must be completed at high levels of quality and safety. Daily duties will include some customer contact, diagnosing, troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, and making repairs. Work assignments will be completed in the shop. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
