    About the role:

    Pure Medical is growing! The above Customer Service position is an exciting role that will focus on inbound/outbound calls, order processing ,and other basic customer service functions. As a Customer Service Representative(CSR) you should be proficient of all equipment & supplies provided by Pure Medical and uphold Pure Medical’s standard for excellence. Responsible for competently and efficiently performing all tasks relative to order processing, scheduling of setups and routine deliveries, be knowledgeable of Medicare guidelines, as well as commercial payor requirements. The ability to work toward meeting insurance requirements for all documentation is also crucial to be successful in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and referrals
    • Order processing for all branches, and all types of orders in a timely fashion
    • Work on initial insurance authorizations, and re-authorizations
    • Obtain insurance information, and verify benefits accurately
    • Generate all delivery paperwork
    • Communicate effectively and efficiently with all referral sources and patients
    • Answer incoming phone calls, take customer orders, & key orders into computer,
    • Maintain patient records including patient medical documents
    • Properly document each interaction made with patient, insurance, referral source, etc.

    Candidate requirements:

    • Able to function as a polite and cooperative team member with a positive attitude
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision/and as a team when necessary
    • MUST be detail-oriented
    • Effective and professional verbal and written communication abilities
    • Ability to follow internal guidelines as well as industry-imposed guidelines
    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Have a people sensitive personality with a desire to help others
    • Previous Experience in the HME field beneficial
    • Flexibility given the ever-changing responsibilities, atmosphere, growth of a “start-up” HME provider
