Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epidemiologist to join our team. As an Epidemiologist, you will play a crucial role in studying and analyzing patterns, causes, and effects of diseases in specific populations. Duties:
- Collect and analyze data on disease outbreaks, trends, and risk factors
- Conduct epidemiological investigations to identify the source of disease outbreaks
- Monitor and report on disease surveillance data
- Design and implement studies to assess the effectiveness of public health interventions
- Develop and maintain databases for storing and analyzing epidemiological data
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to develop strategies for disease prevention and control
- Prepare reports, presentations, and publications to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest research, methodologies, and technologies in the field of epidemiology

Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of epidemiological study design, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques
- Proficiency in data management software such as Stata, SQL, SAS, or similar programs
- Experience with statistical software packages such as R or SPSS
- Familiarity with public health principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
